Are Shutters child friendly?

Yes, they are inherantly safe by design, as they are cord free and chain free.

How do I keep my shutters looking new?

All of our premium wooden shutters are very low maintenance; you will never need to paint them, and they are easy to clean.

What is the Warranty cover?

All of our shutters come with a five-year peace of mind warranty.

How long will my appointment take?

Your in-home appointment will approximately take 45-60 mins. This is dependant on the number of windows and your design choice.

Will I know what time my appointment will be?

Yes, your design consultant will text you on the day to confirm an ETA. Contact will be made the evening before to explain your appointment details.

How long will I need to wait to have my shutters fitted?

You will be given a provisional fitting date on completion of survey, which will then be confirmed.

How long will my shutters take to fit?

Your installer will confirm how long this will take on completion of the survey.

Do I need to do anything before fitting ?

Yes, please clear the surrounding area and remove any existing blinds or curtains.

How much will my shutters cost?

We are happy to offer you an estimate over the phone, but for a formal quote we will need to complete an in-home appointment to enable us to finetune your measurements and design.

How much does an appointment cost?

Your appointment is free, and no additional cost will be added to your shutters once purchased.

How do I pay? 

You can pay in-home via card machine or bank transfer.

KEY FACTS

  1. Shutters are not a blackout product.
     

  2. Changes must not be made to the windows or the surrounding area once the survey has been completed.
     

  3. All main parties will need to be present at the survey and installation.
     

  4. No window recess is completely square.
     

  5. The installer may need to use decorators caulk around the windows to complete the perfect finish.
     

  6. The installer may need to use batten around the window frames.
     

  7. All window furnishings and breakables need to be removed before survey and installation.
     

  8. If there any obstructions such as skirting board, dado rails, tiles or coving the installer will explain how this will be overcome.
     

  9. Installation of corner or bay posts may prevent having access behind the post for cleaning.
     

  10. There could be light gaps around the shutter especially if a two or a three-sided frame has been used.
     

  11. Changes cannot be made to the order once the survey has been completed.
